We went to Apple Annie's in Willcox and had a great time. We felt a little silly to pay money to pick pumpkins, go on a hay ride and walk through a corn field, but we just don't get a chance to do that kind of stuff anymore. We have turned in to "city folk"!! But it really was fun. Here's the proof!
Does anyone remember playing in theplanters in the tractor graveyard? I remember
getting in the wheat and covering myself as much as I
could and then eating the wheat. It was probably treated with pesticide! Anyway, Apple Annie's had
these big tubs with corn in them that were the BEST!
The boys played for a long time in there. Now all they
need is a big pile of cotton seed to jump in. Do
any of you remember doing that? Didn't we have
the best childhood! Pesticide and all!!
