Still a little out of sorts.
We finally got to move into the house we are renting on Thursday night. For those of you who know, we are renting Tommy and Diane Richardsons old house. We spent the night there, but had to come to grandmas house for my mom to fix us breakfast. Friday I didn't go in to work(slacker, I know) so that I could try to get a handle on things. Guy left for Texas Wednesday to finish some work on the house and he had a few clients to take care of too. So the kids and I have been moving in with a LOT of help from our ward family. The biggest reason why I LOVE Animas. It may not be the prettiest spot on this earth (probably not even in the top 1000!!), but you can't hardly find better members of the church. They are willing to help and do anything for you. We may even have a job at the San Simon schools for Guy to fill in between his shoeing biz. Thanks to Curry Donaldson (also in our ward now). He never heard back from the county about the road job, maybe because he wanted to grate it, not grade it!!! Love ya too Lynna!!
Work is going pretty good. They didn't have enough work to keep my busy Wednesday and Thursday because the computers were down. I finally resorted to hand typing all the checks for the bills. I will do just about anything to keep from just sitting at my desk all day. I think Tuesday, they will have me lined out a little better. They haven't had to deal with someone like me for a while. No one else goes around LOOKING for things to do!! Even Randi couldn't believe how fast I was getting things done for her and wanting more. If I am going to spend all day away from my family, it should be worth it, right?!
Love ya all, hopefully, we will be settled in soon. Did I mention that I hate moving?

I survived the move!!
Well, we made it! We are living in Cotton City. I started work today and Guy had an interview with the county road dept. My day went pretty good and Guy thought his interview went ok. They just put him on a grater(SP?) and had him show them how good he was. There are 700 miles of dirt road to mantain in this little county!! He will still need to get his CDL if he gets hired. The man doing the testing knows Guy from when we worked on the ranch in Portal. I hope that gives him an edge, there are lots of men out of work around here because the copper mine is laying off so many. We haven't moved in to the house we are renting yet, but our moving truck will be here tomorrow. We will have a fast and furious weekend to try and get settled in.
Tonight is basketball homecoming and so Bobby has a date, Amanda talked Guy into taking her to the dance and this whole week was full of fun dressing up. The school work is harder here than in Texas and so the kids are adjusting to that, but they LOVE the four day school week!! I wish I had fridays off too!!
I will get more details and pictures, right now I am on Aunt Martha's computer and just wanted to say hi and let you all know that we are well and happy. Have a great weekend!
