First day of school. Well, what can I say about it. We look forward to it and we dread it all at the same time. I must admit that I do look forward to having a clean...semi-clean house for part of the day once the kids start school. And I always plan lots of things that I want to get done while they are gone. But, I really do miss them a ton and around October, can't wait for summer to come again!
The kids were really nervous about this first day of school. The school here is huge compared to the one in Idaho. Amanda's freshman class here has about 150 kids. In Idaho she had 6! They are adjusting pretty well and finding things that they love.

COOKIES??
Ok, so who knew that cookies were so important?? Not me!! Give me one of mom's Blue Ribbon-County Fair chocolate chip cookies anyday! I had to mess around with the cookies on my computer, started over...twice and now I think I can do this the right way....:)
This is Fun!
I really think I am going to like this!! Already, I have two comments!! Julie asked for a pic of the house we bought, so here it is. Mom has been askin’ me too, but she will be here in few weeks for Johnny's baptism. So she will get to see the mess first hand!
The house was a good buy for the size, but not for the great decor!! We have a lot of work to do to make it great. I still haven't painted and we still have boxes in my bedroom!!! UGGG!!! I have decided that Guy and I may never get a house finished. So far, they have all needed lots of work when we got there and we never got everything done that we wanted. Oh well, life is a work in progress...right?!!
This is my FAV Room. The tub has jets and everything!! The curtains were here when we moved in and I haven't decided for sure what I want to do. So they stay for now!

HELLOOOO BLOGGER WORLD!!
So, after stalking my friends and family on their blogs, I have decided to start my own! I have to warn you, we are not all that exciting, but we do have lots of fun. I guess, I will start with a brief update on all of us. Well, not so brief, there are a lot of us here!!
Guy, is my honey for time and all eternity. He is great at taking care of all of us. He can figure out how to do anything and is creative beyond words. I am a lucky girl to be married to him.
Me, well, I have been trying to hold the fort down. Some days I win, some days not so much! We are a busy family and I love following my kids around in all of their activities.
Bobby is 17 and will be a Senior this year. He is really excited to get the school year going and get it over with. He wants to serve a mission and attend college at NMSU. He is super smart with computers and wants to make big money doing something with them. He is funny and makes friends where ever he goes. He learned how to play the base quitar this past year and loves to rock to his favorite songs. He even learned a few 80's rock for me!!
Amanda is 14 and will be a freshman. Even beyond her Grandma Carbine's powers, she is growing up to be a beautiful girl and will soon be driving and dating. She finished reading the Twilight Series this summer and is riding her horse Jackie Chan almost every day. She is my best helper in this house full of onery boys and is my favorite person to talk to.
Kolton is 14. He lives in Heber City, UT with his mom. Kolton is a lot like his dad, he loves to try and figure stuff out. He always has the latest gadget and spends a lot of time hanging out with his friends. He is really good at showing us around Heber whenever we go.
Tommy is 11. Need I say more! He is full of fun and mischief! His eyes sparkle with the possiblity of things to do. He has more fun than should be allowed! This year he will be in 6th grade and is playing football with his Kellogg cousins. He has loved playing.
Johnny is 7 and will be in the 2nd grade. He will be baptized in two weeks. He asked Papa Dave to come all the way to Texas to do it. He is a sweet big brother for Boe and Levi. He likes to read and is always the one to remind us to say family prayer.
Boe is 3. And oh boy, is he all boy! Boe doesn't know that he is 3, he thinks he is as old as the other boys around here. This has been made worse since our move because now he has 3 older cousins and he thinks he is as big as them too!! Boe is a handful, but no one gives a better hug!
Levi pulls up the tail at 7 months old. I have not had a sweeter baby. He loves to cuddle and has a smile ready for everyone. He goes with the crazy flow around here. We are blessed to have his spirit in our family.
How was that for a brief update?!?
